This morning Valencia released their music video for the song "Carry On". You can view the video on myspace music now!

     Valencia finished up their new demo called "Dancing with a Ghost" on September 9, 2009. They also were just added to the October 15 show with Dashboard Confessional in North Carolina. They said that they are only doing a few shows for this fall & then they will be hitting up the studio again for a new record! Get pumped!

     Dishonor The Chapel released their 7 track EP on their myspace this week! All songs will be free to download via a link that will be up on their myspace soon (EasyEvent will post the link when it is available).

     Although they just recorded their EP, Dishonor The Chapel will be ending. They are creating a new band, a new name & writing new material. They have a second vocalist; Nick K. from the band Slave To The Kill. Stay tuned to EasyEvent for updates on this!

     Days Of Waste announced that on Saturday October 3, 2009 they will be playing their CD Release show at The Silo in Reading, PA. Other acts playing that night will be bands such as Beneath The Sky, Corpus Christi, Aaron Charles + many more!

     As they stated in their blog, Days Of Waste feels that this will be their biggest night in their musical careers. So they ask that all who can attend to purchase a ticket off of them for the cost of $10. If you wait to purchase your ticket the day of the show, it will cost you $12. The show will start at 6:00 PM.

     As we stated in our previous article, Days Of Waste's full length album will be called "A Stance To Corruption". After the release of the album, EasyEvent will be doing a review on the album, and also will be doing a full interview with the band. Stay tuned for updates!

     Thursday September 3, 2009 the Easy Event crew traveled to The Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA to experience one of the best shows they have seen to date! The show started with two openers; Ventriloquist (Lancaster, PA) & Texas In July (Ephrata, PA). Ventriloquist started first with a 15-20 minute set, really getting the crowd moving! Then came along Texas In July with a 20-30 minute set, showing the crowd they are not rookies! Both bands playing hardcore tunes really had the crowd pumped for the main acts!

     Then came along the first national act, MYCHILDREN MYBRIDE (Solid State Records). They joked around a lot with the crowd, one time saying they wouldn't play their hit song "Headshot!". The crowd got bummed, so the band broke it out along with a couple others, one including the song "Faithless". (You can view the "Faithless" music video below.)

     Then came along the headlining act of the night, Between The Buried and Me (Victory Records). Throwing out crazy guitar solos, pounding double bass hits, big bass lines and a unique front man on the keys and vocals screaming and singing like no other front man you have ever seen or heard before, Between The Buried and Me absolutely knows how to play a great show! The crowd went completley nuts for the band and that is no exaggeration. Playing songs that have no time limit, some ranging past 10 minutes long a piece, like "White Walls" which is over 14 minutes long, Between The Buried and Me really know how to write great songs and perform them as well. They were even able to play an encore that ranged past 10 minutes long too! Between The Buried and Me is one of the most progressive & experimental bands out there, with 4 albums released and a 5th one coming out in October, they definitely are at their peak of brilliance!
